How we work together
There’s no one right way to do this work. We start with where you are and what matters to you.
You already have insight, experience, and strengths to draw from. My role is to help you make sense of them and use them in a way that actually works in real life.
Whether you’re an individual or part of a team, the focus is the same - understanding your strengths and using them in a way that’s practical and works for you.
This isn’t about being told what to do.
My approach draws on evidence-based fields like positive psychology - the science of what helps people thrive - along with insights from neuroscience. I focus on making these ideas practical, so they’re useful in everyday life.
It’s a collaborative process that supports you to make sense of yourself, trust your decisions, and take steps that feel purposeful and manageable.
Ways to work with me
From 1:1 coaching to group sessions and team workshops - find the option that works best for you.
-
Personalised, strengths-based coaching to help you move forward on what matters.
This can be a one-off session or ongoing support, depending on what you need.
I focus on building awareness of your strengths, getting clear on your priorities, and taking practical steps that work in your day-to-day life.
-
A one-off session using Cappfinity’s Skills Discovery tool (formerly known as the Strengths Profile)
The Skills Discovery is a research-based tool that helps you understand what energises you, what you’re good at, and how to use those strengths more intentionally.
In this session, we unpack your results and translate them into practical insights you can apply straight away.
-
Small group coaching designed to help people better understand and use their strengths in everyday life.
These sessions bring people together to reflect, learn, and take practical steps forward, whether that’s building confidence, improving habits, or gaining clarity on what matters most.
A space to think, reflect, and move forward alongside others.
-
I work with teams and organisations to embed a strengths-based approach into how people work, lead, and develop.
This can include coaching, workshops, and facilitation tailored to your context, with a focus on strengthening performance, communication, and how people work together day to day.
Workshops are practical and designed to be applied in real situations.
Focus areas can include:
understanding and applying strengths at work
building more effective, high-performing teams
developing confidence and decision-making
improving communication and collaboration
gaining clarity on direction and priorities
Who I work with
I work with people who want to understand themselves better and use their strengths more intentionally in how they live and work.
Often, they’re ready to make a shift, but aren’t quite sure where to focus or how to move forward.
This might sound like you:
Individuals
You want more clarity, direction, or a stronger sense of control over how you’re living and working.
You’re ready to focus your energy more intentionally, but you’re not sure what that looks like yet.
Parents
You want to show up in a way that feels calm, present, and aligned with the kind of parent you want to be - while navigating competing demands
Leaders
You’re navigating leadership and want to lead in a way that feels authentic, effective, and sustainable, without losing yourself in the process.
Young people
You’re building confidence, understanding your strengths, and figuring out your direction. Coaching support will help you make sense of who you are and what’s possible.
Teams and organisations
You want to create more effective, connected, and energising ways of working, where people understand their strengths and how to use them together.
I’ve worked across schools, not-for-profits, private organisations, and community settings, supporting people at different stages of life to understand themselves better and move forward on what matters. What I bring to this work is my ability to connect, build trust quickly, and create a space where you can think clearly, feel supported, and take practical steps forward.

Frequently asked questions?
-
No. Many people start coaching with a sense that something could feel better, easier, or more energising — but they’re not quite sure what needs to change. Part of the process is creating the space to explore that and find clarity.
-
Absolutely. Coaching isn’t only for when something is wrong. Many people use coaching to better understand themselves, make thoughtful choices, use their strengths more intentionally, and create more of what energises them.
-
No. Coaching is about you as a whole person — not just one role or part of your life. While it can support career decisions, leadership, and professional growth, it can also help during times of change, uncertainty, or when you’re wanting to reconnect with what matters most.
People come to coaching for many reasons — to gain clarity, build confidence, understand themselves better, navigate decisions, use their strengths more intentionally, or create more energy and direction in their everyday life.
-
Coaching sessions are conversations with purpose. We explore what’s happening for you, what matters most, and what might help you move forward. Depending on your goals, we may use strengths-based tools, reflection activities, or practical strategies — but the focus is always on creating insights and actions that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
-
Rather than starting with what’s missing or needs fixing, strengths-based coaching starts by understanding what gives you energy, motivates you, and helps you perform at your best. From there, we build practical, sustainable ways forward.
-
I am accredited to use the Skills Discovery tool by Cappfinity, it is often a great starting point for my clients. I also use other evidence-based tools and positive psychology approaches to support reflection and insight. But they’re not a one-size-fit-all formula. We’ll use what is helpful, meaningful and practical for you.
-
Cappfinity’s Skills Discovery Tool is an evidence-based assessment that helps you understand your strengths — what energises you, what comes naturally, and how you can use these strengths more intentionally. As an accredited practitioner, I guide you through your results and help you turn these insights into practical actions for work, life and personal growth.
-
No. Coaching is different from therapy. While we may explore experiences, patterns, and what has shaped how you approach things, coaching is focused on where you are now, what matters to you, and the steps you want to take moving forward.
-
Both are possible. Some people start with a Skills Discovery debrief or a short coaching package, while others choose ongoing support. We’ll talk about what best fits where you are and what you’re hoping to achieve.
-
Yes. I work with teams, schools, organisations, and community groups through coaching, workshops, and facilitation — applying the same strengths-based principles to help people work, connect, and grow together.
